  Second time we've visited this great little village pub while on a cycling day out. Nice couple of beers on tap and a menu that offers a good, but not excessive, choice. Food is absolutely fantastic - huge portions and proper, well filled pies (none of your puff pastry lid on a bowl of casserole that sees to pass as a pie more and more!).
  
  OK, the inside decor may be a little dated, but don't judge it on that - the friendly service and fantastic food are well worth the visit.
